Miller is a 95 in speed in the latest Roster update.

If it is going to be Brees or Pennington it is more likely to be Brees as he made the Pro Bowl last year and because of the New Orleans connection as Brees and the Saints got way more attention than Chad and the Jets did last year from the US media.

you guys do realize that the cover you see is just a default image picture, and not what the cover will be with just the player shaded out, right? It's an image of a QB every year until the actual coverboy is announced.

on another note leon washington needs to be way faster than a 91....he should at least be a 94 or 95....

Hell yea he does. Cotchery needs to be atleast a 90 or 91 speed. Leon should be 95 (Jones and Leon are the same speed? WTF!), Miller should get bumped to 98 or 99 speed,Chads THP should be atleast a 90 not 87.

chad johnson is the only pick that makes sense to me. they might pick a player from the losing team again though and go with urlacher.

Chad is LUCKY to have an 87, even when chad was ful strength in the prime of his career he wouldn't deserve a 90 in THP. that was a terrible suggestion. I mean u saw awareness or accuracy in 90's ok maybe, but THP??? comon, i know its Madden but be a LITTLE realistic.

A 90 in madden is realistic, Every starting Q.B in madden has 90 or more. I think giving Chad a 90 THP is not that off base. 87 is just horrible. only 3rd and 2nd strings have 87 THP. Chad is a starter and should have 90 THP atleast.

cus hes a starter he automatically gets a 90? Thats not realistic at all! hes not a strong armed QB. the fact is in real life he DOES HAVE THE ARM STRENGTH OF A 2ND OR 3RD STRINGER, if not worse. This is not another rant of if hes good or not but FACT that he has an extremely WEAK arm. He cant zing the ball in there which a 90 THP qb can do in Madden. Chad at best REALISTICALLY deserves low to mid 80's at best. And there are other starting qb's in the game with THP in the 80's, for instance Drew Brees who has a hell of a lot better arm than Chad. So why u think Chad being a starter makes him entitled to 90 THP is beyond me and makes me thankful yr not in charge of rankings in the Madden creation team cus then the game would be rediculous and utter crap to play.

Chad can't throw the ball hard 5 yards away, and he cant throw a 10-15 yard out route. Again, he's lucky to have an 87, and thats not opinion THATS FACT.

Clemens arm in Madden is stronger then Pennintons.

I know it is. It doesn't matter about being a starter or not but in Madden (not real life) starters have always gotten a little bit of love from the designers of the game. The thing is I'm not asking for it to be 98 THP all I'm saying in 90 thats it. 3 more ticks above 87. Whats so unrealistic about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing unrealstic about that is Clemens throwing power is 91. So if they move up Chads they better bump up Clemens thp. I can't stand using Chad and his weak arm in Madden.

Actually im the other way around. I rather use Chad because of his better accuracy. Zipping the ball means nothing to me because 90% of the time the player I want is open anyway.

Yeah I used to use Chad when I play but I started using Kellen Clemens in my franchise and when I go back to Chad it messes up my timing. Like I would just have to flick my controller when Kellen but going back to Chad I have to put alot more stength into it.

I understand what you mean. I used Clemens and he costed me $200 in a tourny game!

I went back next time and won my $200 back plus another $300 with Chad.

I use Chad because Clemens' accuracy sucks even though with Chad you get more dropped balls because of his weak arm and the fact defenders can get to the receiver quicker and knock it loose. One of my beefs with Madden is the number of dropped balls. If the WR gets hit just as he has caught it, I find 70% of the time they drop it.
With Clemens if I'm throwing a fly pattern with him, yes the arm strength is there but he ends up throwing it 5-10 yards either side of the receiver meaning the safety or the CB make a play on the ball most of the time.

It just depends on who you're used to. Have you tried doing a user catch? If you do a user catch they don't drop the ball as much.

I have it on All-Pro (stuff All-Madden, I hate losing) so isn't user catch already on?

No you have to hit a button or make a grabbing motion to catch to do user catch. What system you have?

Pennington doesnt deserve a 90 in thp because Drew Brees isnt getting a 90 in thp. Plain n simple people wit WAy betta arms would have lower rankins, and i dont care if hes a starter Penny's arm sux and should actually be LOWER not higher.

that doesn't mean anything, last year the gamestop at my house had bettis, cohwer, and LT on covers and it wound up being alexander

i still believe ocho cinco is the coverboy though. he's the only player in recent years talented and charismatic enough that also fits with EA sports' themes to get the cover.
