I don't care if you hate Dane Cook, you gotta admit he's one funny fcker.

But he doesn't even write his jokes. Thats what irks me.

Let's see some evidence. His jokes have been the same style since he was in his 20s before he was famous. Was someone writing his jokes then? That whole thing about stealing from Ck Louis was bullshit, because CK Louis was caught stealing jokes, and not just having similar ones like Dane did. Dane had the balls to go on national radio and apologize if his jokes were similar to Louis's and he wanted to meet with CK to see if he wanted to go on tour with Dane, to show no hard feelings.

A buddy of mine has a friend that's hired by Dane Cook to write jokes for him...

Your right, now that I think of it, I highly doubt any comedian that makes a decent living writes his entire set. Just like your favorite emo bands

I think they do.

In Dane Cook's defense Bob Hope had people write jokes for him for years. He had I believe an entire vault full of jokes written for him. I find Dane Cook entertaining and laugh at some of his jokes but I wouldn't say his jokes will stand the tests of time like Richard Pryor or George Carlin's still do.


Now "Carlos Mencia" is another story.

lol at first it was "show some evidence." Evidence was shown and then it's now justified because "every comedian does it." By the way, what emo bands do I listen to (besides Story Of The Year, who I actually do happen to like)? Last I checked, Hatebreed, Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, Staind, 25 Ta Life, and Deftones (just to name a few) weren't emo at all.
