Hey guys without sounding like an idiot I just got Madden 09 for PS2 for my B Day I spent an hour last night trying to locate Favre in the NFL Greats Roster. I was in Franchise mode and had no luck. I looked around here for a prior thread and did not see one could someone please post a step by step procedure for an older guy how to drop Chad and add Brett to my roster. FYI as I stated I am using the PS2 and I am NOT playing online I looked on some other web pages and found some real basic instruction but could never find the NFL Greats.

Thanks in advance for your patiance. drinks.gif

your best bet is to get a network adapter and jump online to grab the new roster. its free for the ps2 so i dont see why its stopping you. a used adapter should run you under 20 dollars... thats if you need one..you might have the slim ps2 i dont know.

I went back last night and looked all over the game and did not see "NFL GREATS" teams or rosters the only thing remotely close was the "ALL" Jets or Vickings etc etc as well as certain years for each team. So I guess my real question is where the heck is the NFL Greats cause I know how to release or trade players. I just want to release Chad to Miami & pick up Brett. I don't think I'm blind but maybe I am DOH!!!!

Brett Favre is not available on the ps2 version of madden 09. The only one he can't be unlocked or pick up as a free agent.
